Sustainable
living should
be easy,
and with
reGen, it is.

In a world where making sustainable choices can feel like a hassle or cost a fortune, reGen is here to change the game. We design practical, affordable products using plant-based and recycled materials that cut down on plastic and reduce carbon footprints without compromising on quality or performance.

Our
Commitment

At reGen, we are committed to reducing plastic use by incorporating regenerative alternatives into our products. We recognize that consumers want to make a difference, and there is growing pressure on corporations and businesses alike to reduce emissions and achieve net- zero targets. That’s why reGen supports several UN Sustainable Development Goals and takes pride in offering products that not only perform well but are also less impactful on the planet.

What About Compostables?

While we support all environmental waste strategies, we also recognize that there’s no silver bullet when it comes to sustainability. Compost operations are a vital need of the circular economy, but the reality is: it doesn’t exist everywhere, and the regions that have programs set up may not even accept compostable products (crazy, right?).

We understand the challenges faced by commercial kitchens, restaurants, and consumers who purchase compostables (often at a premium) without a means to compost them, opting to pay more for a sustainable product that gets used once and ends up in the landfill.

That’s why we’re designing products that have sustainable benefits baked right into the design, regardless of what waste programs exist in your area.

Why Not

Paper or Wood?

The paper and wood phenomenon seems to be taking over the product world right now, and that’s understandable from the outset. It seems like the better environmental choice, right? It’s a renewable resource, it doesn’t contain chemicals, and it’s about as natural as you can get… right? It’s okay if the paper straw melts in your drink, or a splinter from your bamboo fork stabs your lip, because it’s better for the planet, right?

In reality, paper and wood products don’t just underperform, they cost a serious amount more to produce, and we don’t mean just in cost- they need more raw materials, require more energy, take a huge amount of water (to both initially grow and in the manufacturing process), and often need large chemical inputs to be processed into the everyday products we don’t think twice about. In fact, plastic often outperforms wood, cotton, and other common product materials in life-cycle analyses that analyze environmental impact (and don’t just take our word for it- search Google Scholar for ‘paper vs. plastic LCA’ and you’ll see what we mean).

By using other renewable materials, like annually renewable plants and recycled content, reGen products don’t just have a smaller carbon footprint- they allow trees to provide all their wonderful environmental benefits from simply existing: clean air, more carbon capture, and biodiversity retention.
